University of Tasmania Archives

The University of Tasmania Archives adopted AtoM together with Archivematica, with Australian provider Gaia Resources deploying both onto the university's NECTAR academic research cloud and providing staff training. The pairing gave the archive an open-source access catalogue backed by a standards-based digital-preservation pipeline, with ongoing support from Gaia. A useful Oceania example of deploying the AtoM-plus-Archivematica combination on existing academic cloud infrastructure — a common requirement where university IT prefers to keep systems on institutional infrastructure.
