TU Wien runs its Research Data Repository on InvenioRDM and became the first InvenioRDM-based system worldwide to earn CoreTrustSeal certification — also Austria's first certified institutional repository. The certification signals the platform's readiness for the trust requirements of funders and publishers who depend on reliable repositories. TU Wien pairs a strict pre-publication review process with custom front-end theming, and has contributed modules back to the wider InvenioRDM community. Achieving CoreTrustSeal on InvenioRDM demonstrates that the open-source stack can meet rigorous institutional compliance and long-term preservation audits.
