Migrated to InvenioRDM

CERN — Zenodo

Zenodo, CERN's generalist research repository and one of the largest in the world, relaunched on the standardised InvenioRDM platform in October 2023, moving off its earlier bespoke Invenio codebase. The rebuild brought Zenodo onto the same turn-key stack the wider community maintains, and added persistent-identifier workflows the older version lacked: depositors can now auto-complete creators from ORCID and affiliations from ROR, and link records to custom funders and awards. CERN, as the birthplace of Invenio, used the migration to align Zenodo with InvenioRDM's community curation model while preserving the familiar deposit experience the global scientific community relies on.
