CALM → AtoM (+ WordPress)

London South Bank University

London South Bank University migrated its archive from Axiell CALM to a hybrid setup pairing AtoM with WordPress, working with managed-hosting provider Max Communications. CALM data was exported as XML, cleansed into CSV and ingested using Max's 'Crosswalker' tooling, while the WordPress front end let the university open designated areas of the archive to the public with a tailored, curated navigation on top of AtoM's descriptive back end. It is a UK university example of combining an open-source archival catalogue with familiar web-CMS technology to shape the experience for a broader, non-specialist audience.
