Journal of Information Literacy / University of Edinburgh

The Journal of Information Literacy (JIL) migrated to the University of Edinburgh's OJS installation in 2017, after a decade hosted at Loughborough University. The manual migration was complex for the volunteer editorial team, but physically moving the content also prompted an audit of a decade of archives — surfacing bibliometric trends in regional (Scottish, Welsh, Irish) authorship. A UK example of a scholarly-society journal consolidating onto a university library's open-source OJS hosting.
