Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE)

Eötvös Loránd University's Centre for Digital Humanities in Hungary was an early European pilot of the modern Islandora (CLAW / 8.x) framework, building a semantic data repository for the 'Online Knowledge Base of Hungarian Philosophy'. Replacing fragmented local storage, the project ingested manuscripts, philosophical texts and audiovisual recordings into a semantic-web structure backed by Fedora and a triplestore, serving as a proof-of-concept that modern Islandora could handle complex European content via RDF mapping and Drupal tools. A Hungarian digital-humanities example of early Islandora 8 adoption.
