DABAR (Digital Academic Archives), Croatia
DABAR is the centralised digital-repository infrastructure for Croatia's higher-education and research network. Built on Islandora, it rapidly provisioned ready-to-use institutional repositories that more than 100 Croatian institutions have used to describe and store their digital collections. Using the MODS schema and native OAI-PMH endpoints (OpenAIRE-compliant) and integrating with Croatia's national authentication infrastructure, DABAR demonstrates Islandora serving as a secure, standards-based national data backbone. A Croatian example of open-source Islandora deployed as national academic infrastructure.
