Migrated to Hyku

University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (Strauss Health Sciences Library) migrated its digital collections from DSpace to Hyku. Anschutz had been part of "Mountain Scholar," a regional group of DSpace repositories, but was forced to find an independent solution when the group's lead, Colorado State University, announced it could no longer financially support the shared instance. The library moved to Hyku via the vendor Ubiquity, which enabled new digital workflows and the ability to commission bespoke developments for medical datasets. Post-migration metadata cleanup was extensive, but the move modernised the collections and aligned Anschutz technologically with nearby CU Boulder, an established Samvera user.
