Arca (BC ELN consortium)
Arca, the collaborative digital-repository network run by BC ELN for post-secondary institutions across British Columbia, is upgrading its end-of-life Islandora 7 infrastructure to Islandora 2. Overseen by BC ELN with its Arca manager and migration specialists, the move modernises a shared, federated platform serving many institutions, giving each customised Drupal front-ends and IIIF-based digital-exhibit capability. A Canadian consortium example of a coordinated Islandora 7-to-2 upgrade across a provincial library network.
