Amigos Library Services (Hendrix College)
Amigos Library Services runs a managed Digital Repository Service on the Hyku platform for its members, and Hendrix College is among the institutions hosted on it (listed alongside Mid-America Christian University, New Mexico Highlands University and others). Amigos prices the service aggressively — $1,500 a year for member institutions ($3,000 for non-members) for repositories up to 400GB of storage — eliminating the need for small colleges to employ their own developers or systems administrators. The managed model brings enterprise-grade, open-source repository hosting within reach of small-to-mid-sized academic libraries through a consortial umbrella.
