Millennium → Koha

New York University Health Sciences Libraries

The New York University Health Sciences Libraries migrated from the proprietary Innovative Millennium ILS to open-source Koha. As one of the earlier documented moves by a medical library to Koha, it helped demonstrate that an open-source ILS could handle the demands of a complex academic health-sciences collection, and that the migration could be used as an opportunity to review and clean up legacy circulation and patron data. A US medical-library example of an early Koha adoption.
