UNSW Canberra Special Collections

UNSW Canberra's Special Collections built a new-generation platform on the open-source CollectiveAccess, working with the agency GLAM IT, to replace fragmented legacy tools. The system consolidates the full lifecycle — from donor acquisition through cataloguing to public discovery — for the university's archival collections and rare books, including material such as the John Howard papers, with the Pawtucket front end providing faceted browsing and digital-object viewing. An Australian university-special-collections example of unifying archival management on open-source CollectiveAccess.
