EPrints → DSpace-CRIS

University of Zurich

Guided by a clear Open Science strategy, the University of Zurich migrated its ZORA repository from a legacy EPrints platform to a relational DSpace-CRIS environment, with PCG Academia handling the complex remapping of multilingual records. The new platform is the university's authoritative research backbone, linking publications, researchers and organisational units in a single research graph, and integrates UZH's journal database to guide authors on publisher open-access policies at submission. The project won a 'Digital Transformation Leaders' award at LUMEN 2025. A flagship European CRIS migration.
