Universidad de La Frontera (UFRO)
The Universidad de La Frontera (UFRO) in Chile developed its Biblioteca Digital on Omeka S, first launched in 2017 and later rebuilt as a second version. Using Omeka S with Dublin Core metadata, the library provides structured public access to its digital collections, including unique regional cultural-heritage material from Chile's Araucanía region. A Chilean example of a state university adopting the open-source Omeka S platform to present regional heritage collections to the public.
