Münchner Stadtmuseum (City of Munich Museums)

Driven by the City of Munich's mandate to prioritise open-source software and digital sovereignty, the Münchner Stadtmuseum adopted CollectiveAccess as its internal catalogue, alongside other Munich museums such as the Lenbachhaus and Villa Stuck. Rather than the standard Pawtucket front end, the museum uses the CollectiveAccess API to feed a custom TYPO3-based public portal, and the city commissions the core developers to build features it needs. A German municipal example of open-source collections management under a digital-sovereignty policy.
