Legacy → DSpace 7

European University Institute

The European University Institute partnered with Atmire to migrate and upgrade 'Cadmus', its institutional repository, to DSpace 7. The project moved the repository's data into the new platform and modelled authors as DSpace Person entities linked to a central person registry, with ORCID integration and connections to services such as OpenAIRE, CORE, RePEc and Google Scholar to improve discoverability and reporting. A European research-institute example of a Cadmus-to-DSpace-7 modernisation built around relational person data and open scholarly infrastructure.
