Dartmouth College Library

Dartmouth College Library uses Omeka S — built out with the digital-humanities agency Agile Humanities — as the platform for its online exhibits, among them 'SpeakOut', an oral-history exhibit drawing on the library's LGBTQIA+ collections. The choice of Omeka S reflects a wider pattern of well-resourced US university libraries adopting the open-source platform to present archival and oral-history material in a structured, curated, linked-data-friendly form rather than through bespoke one-off websites. A US university-library example of Omeka S as the presentation layer for digital-humanities and oral-history projects.
