Concytec — PeruCRIS national network

Peru's national science, technology and innovation council, Concytec, created the PeruCRIS national research-information network on DSpace-CRIS, architected by 4Science. Rather than simple OAI-PMH aggregation, PeruCRIS uses a customised CERIF XML profile to normalise, enrich and curate research data at the national level, and connects to national registries such as RENIEC (identity) and SUNEDU (higher education). A landmark Latin American example of a country building unified national research infrastructure on open-source DSpace.
